ANTIQUE DENTAL DRILL - $600
- VERY rare "treadle" dental drill, made in England in the late 1800's or early 1900's. 
- Cast iron pedal, base and treadle wheel with stainless stand and gearworks. 
- This is a museum piece, and a favorite collectible within the dental industry. 
- The treadle drill was invented in 1871 by American dentist James Beall Morrison (1829-1917). His drill was popular with dentists throughout Europe and America, and an example of the first mechanically powered drill.
